What is Binocular Vision Dysfunction (BVD)?
When both eyes are not working together, the two different images seen by each eye do not coordinate properly. This can result in symptoms ranging from headaches, reading problems that are similar to and often mistaken for Dyslexia, behavioral issues such as ADHD, learning challenges that require IEPs for students in school, double vision, and/or eye strain. All of these symptoms can worsen over time and are not improved through the use corrective lenses alone.
